I have a wireless access point router. Base computer running XP Pro. Remote computer running 98SE. Everything was working fine. I decided to enable WEP 128 bit when I connected a laptop and stopped using original remote computer (so I never bothered to make sure remote computer was working).

Six months later: attempting to set up original remote computer with 128 bit WEP. Getting message that remote computer is connecting to access point but cannot locate internet. I tried switching to 64 bit and disabling WEP altogether (making sure to do it on both ends). I've rebooted both computers, cable modem and router several times.

What am I doing wrong?
