I'm using Illustrator CS / PC version.
When I go to open Illustrator Files in Windows XP, there used to be very clear icons that differientiated an ai (Illustrator File) from an Illustrator 11 eps or Legacy EPS file. Now, they're gone when I try and choose files. The files still open when I choose them, however. It's just that now the file icons have been replaced with that generic windows file/program icon.
I think I know what happened. I've gotten comfortable with CS, so I did a windows REMOVAL of Illustrator 10. Somewhere in that removal the link/icon associations must have been deleted.
Is there a way to get those icons back without reinstalling Ilustrator 10?
