ok i log in
then i type startx
then i'll this error
Config Error:/usr/x11r6/lib/x11/xf86config:48
WHAT CAN I DO?

Hi,

There must be some kind of error in your XF86Config file - line 48. You can edit the file and fix/comment-out whats wrong. If that sounds too tricky and you're running redhat it might just be simplest to run Xconfigurator. Otherwise you can run xf86config.

Also, perhaps you could start by explaining what distribution of Linux you are installing, and what graphics card you have installed. While you were installing Linux, it should have walked you through installing X window system for your graphics card already. Did you do that, and what was the system's response to that?
