lost feature when exchg2003 is installed on 2000 server os 2

Stole this from another post, no personal experience.
"Exchange 2003 downloads... includes deployment guides. Can be installed on DC, but not recommended... will run extremely slow. Forest Prep and Domain Prep will modify the schema (used during early installation steps). New AD users and computer tools, I recommend, can be installed on DC (easier to manage resouces). Exchange 2003 is best installed on server 2003. Some features are lost, if installed on server 2000, though I understand if it is a $$ issue."
