Lost Faxes

Hi Everyone

Recently i've been getting a lot complaints about callpilot faxes not being able to open and then "dissapearing"

when i look at the alarm monitor i see a error 58208
"Fax reception fault. A fax message can be partially or completely lost. Troubleshooting info: Mailbox=xxxx, Called DN=xxxx"

has anyone seen this before? I am using CallPilot 4.0
any help would be great!!

Is the error legit?

There's also a caller DN in the description, if you call it does another fax machine pickup?

You can get the 58208 error if a caller inadvertantly calls your fax/mailbox. An example would be perhaps a tele-marketer calls then hangs up. To ther Call Pilot this looks like an aborted fax.

If you have many 58208 errors are they from different caller DNs or the same one over and over.

Your support folks would want to make sure you have the latest PEPs on the Call Pilot in order to trouble shoot.
Also, ask your support provider to check into patches 21888 and 21296.
