Lost extension and programming even with "follow-me" active

I was testing new workstations by using my handset (M7310) which had the Follow-Me function enabled. I would plug-in, make sure that the line was active and that my handset information loaded correctly, however, the third time I plugged into a new workstation, my phone lost its programming and grabbed a new extension. I want to reprogram my phone back to what it was and make sure follow-me is still enabled - is this something simple to do and if so, could someone give me a walkthrough?
