lost email maybe help!

part of an ongoing problem...
ok.

so i rar'ed the exchsrvr folder on the b0rked server and restored it from a backup. That didnt fix the problem so i put the rar backup back. then it told me to run isinteg -patch because it knew i'd restored from an offline backup.

then i got the other backup exch#1 server up and running and transfered my mailbox. everything seems fine on there.

trouble is everyone on the b0rked server seems to have 'lost' 1 week of email but my mailbox on the other server hasnt.

is this right?
when i transfer other ppl's mailboxes will it sort itself out?

it's ok i got it figured. when I put the rar backup back i didnt do it properly.

the backup from the tape doesnt work. so
when i came in the morning. it was running off the faulty tape backup.

after two hours i've managed to get the rar backup back and working. pheeeeeeeeewww! ===============
