Hi recently formated my c drive to reinstall windows, but did not record the drivers for the modem and sound card.
Is there any way in win 98 or dos to identify these devices ( there are no markings of any kind) i have tried using the setup wizards and the 'supposed' driver disk but to avail, please help

look on the net for belarc adviser. it is a free program and looks at your computer and gives you either a printout or file that lists all the equiptment in the comoputer also all the programs ect.
