Hi Everyone!

I've got a scenario I need some help with. A user has a 7960 IP Phone connected to Call Manager through their own Windows DHCP server (for multiple connectivity purposes) This was working fine until now but has since gone down and and the DHCP settings for the phones connectivity lost.

Does anyone if it's possible to retrieve those settings through Call Manager or any of it's components or is it a case of statically defining an IP address in Call Manager and sourcing the configs from the TFTP server this way.

I'd really appreciate any ideas.

Cheers!

Hi i think it occured once in our lab. We had a sudden pb with the ccm as a dhcp server among active directory.

No more leases were provided cause the ccm was'nt allowed to behave as dhcp server in our domain.

By registering the dhcp server functionnality, all came back normally. No more pbs since.

Good luck
