lost curser on console

Hi
on a sco 5.0.5 machine

i lost the curser
i can type and it displays what i type
but if i use the arrow key i dont see where the curser is

Have you tried rebooting? If that doesn't/didn't work have you tried downing the server, unplugging the mouse and plugging it back in and boot up? Have you tried a different mouse?

i am trying to solve the problem without rebooting
there are a lot of people on the system

there is no mouse
i am working on charactar based
when i switch to a diffrent tty it works fine

is there any control character or command to change this

tput sgr0
clear

those will sometimes work depending on your terminfo settings.

And is this on the console or on a terminal?

If console just use one of the other screens, and when you can just reboot.

I fixed the problem by just openning a file in vi and exit
out from vi
