lost connection to server!

Hi,

I would like to know the following. When the legato client makes a connection to the backup server and starts to stream the data to the backup server, is the data send as udp packets?

The reason for this is, what would then happen if the route or firewall goes down and the route to the backup server is lost.

Hi,

I am not sure what the state of the data being sent across of the network might be, suffice to say NetWorker takes for granted that your network connection is solid and sustained throughout the durration of the backup window. Any lost connection, never mind the point at which it was lost, will cause the backup to fail.
