I seemed to have lost my bluetooth capabilities on my laptop. I Just got a new bluetooth phone so i decided to try it out a little with the computer.

I don't have any blutooth icons in my control panel. The link from programs - accessories - communications is gone also. When I push the button on the front of the laptop, it says no device and everything seems to be set on the phone end. I'm basically trying to upload some ringtones to my phone, but the bluetooth wizard software is gone. This is a XP home edition on this computer.

Any ideas on what I could do to find it or get it back?

Thanks

Thanks

bwall76,

Start by checking in Control panel > add/remove programs and looking for programs installed for "bluetooth".

Also check in program files if you know the name, as many times they are in a folder named for the mfg & not the technology.
