Lost Admin Password P. II

Afternoon All.

I posted a Question on this forum a week back posing the question of a lost admnin Password on a W2K professional Machine, It was recommended to me to boot into Dos and Either copy the Sam files so i could use L0pht3 to crack them which I have a copy of. or to just delete them, Well I boot into Dos, although I have access denied of the files as they are in use. Any other Advice please, i really don't want to Re-install W2k as i don't have all the original copies of the software for that particular machine!

Your help is greatly appreciated.
