Hi I am trying to create a Loss Triangle Report
It would look like the report below where the Premium Value would be the total value for that year and the losses would be accumulated for the elapsed 12 month periods

----------Losses over 12 month periods --------
Year Prem 12 24 36 48 60 72 84
2003 14.6 2.7 5.4 8.8 10.0 10.7 10.9 11.1
2004 24.6 5.05 12.5 18.1 21.9 22.3 22.3
2005 25.8 6.5 11.8 17.6 20.9 23.5
2006 22.8 6.9 12.1 16.9 19.8
2007 18.5 5.4 11.1 15.1
2008 17.4 4.5 9.4
2009 16.8 3.2

I created a Crostab with the First column as premium then thenext as a running total of losses under elapsed months. I canot get the running total to give me the correct calculation. It should be a total of the losses within that period pluss the losses in the prior period Please Help

Thanks John

How did you set the running total? In order for this to work the data should be fetched in the proper order as running totals are calculated by the Cognos server (and not through the SQL sent to the database)
You also would need to make sure it resets for every year I guess..
