All,

This is a new one on me. Suddenly I now have a rather disabled Task Manager view. I have uploaded a screenshot to as I can't really think of a good way to describe it. There are no options available anymore and it cannot be closed apart from a reboot or a logout.

It appears to be profile-specific too, as if I logout and login again as the local admin on the laptop (XP Pro SP2) then I have a full Task Manager app.

I have run a registry cleaner and have been through Kellys Korner for a fix too, all to no avail. No spyware installed and virus defs are up to date.

Any ideas please?

Many thanks,

Tim
