I've got an 2000 Professional workstation that occasionly loses its one drive mapping (we know the cause of this and are working out its fix). The problem I could use some help on is that while a file is being worked on, off the drive mapping that fails, and the drive mapping is lost the user can't save the file to their local hard drive...but can to their floppy drive.
If the file is in memory while being worked on why can't they save the file anywhere on the hard drive?
If the file is corrupted or something of that nature, why can they save it to the floppy?
As always, any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
flyersix
