Is this supposed to happen?

When sys A fails over to sys B the MWI disappears, even when it fails back.

Nupoint, 3300 R8.

You would loose the MWI failover becuase the systems don't update each other on MWI status. If the system crash is the cause of the failover, I don't believe MWI status would be retained.

One fail-back (not fail-over) you can either wait until re-org takes place at night, or there is a command to force the resyncing in the NP.

They are saying that when fail back occurs the MWI light does not return.

It would not return until the next refresh. Again I don't think the status of message waiting lights would be preserved if the 3300 reset.

I just checked the resiliency guidelines there is no mention about the MWI re-appering on the Primary after failback.

How do you configure the MWI refresh?

Remember I am using NuPoint not embedded.

What I mean to say is how to you configure the automatic refresh?

I know how to do the manual refresh.

Thanks
