Hello All,
I am pretty new to Cognos, but have been having fun creating reports with custom sets using unions for items in the same hierarchy level until I realized this causes the issue of losing the ability to drill up or down. Is there anyway to enable drilling up/down for these sets? I tried looking into member sets and overriding the hierarchy, but was unable to get this to work. For clarity, I have documented an example below. I appreciate your help.
For example, I have the data below in the hierarchy displayed.
A
1
a
b
2

3

I have a group of A1 and A3 called Group A. On my report, I display Group A. How can I enable a drill down so I can see A1a, A1b, A3a, and A3b?
Please let me know if I have not been clear and I will do my best to clarify. Thanks.
