Hi,

We have a server when it is rebooted a share doesn't reappear. The Folder is E:\shared\shared. Other folders are shared and are created on the reboot but are located on the root of the E: drive. Has anybody seen anything like this?

TIA

Hi Enbw,

When you mapped the share did you configure it to "Reconnect" after a reboot / make "persistent".

Hi,

Sorry , it is not the mapping that is the problem. It is actually on the server. The folder called 'Shared' is marked as shared. When it is rebooted the folder isn't shared.

Thanks

After reboot, is the Windows "Server" service started?

In your NIC properties is "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" enabled?

Hi,

Sorry I forgot to mention that are other shares on this drive which come up on reboot.
