Losing Report Page Setup

Each time I close the Access application, I lose any page setup changes on the report (Margins, paper size, etc...). The settings save when I close the report object, and re-open it without closing the db itself. But each time the db closes, the report page setup returns to the default. Any ideas?? Thanks.

Are you clicking on the OK button at the bottom or are you closing the page setup by clicking on the X. If you do not click on the OK button the changes will not be saved.

I doubt it's that, Gshen, because I get the same problem, though not quite so frequently if I understand MNDomer03 correctly.

I get it at random. I have a particular report which is set up with very 'tight' margins, down to 1cm. Every now & then, it gets splattered across four or five pages because the margins have reverted to 2.34cm or whatever the default is. This is without me going into any setup areas at all.

Najemikon,
The only time I have had problems was when I was in the page setup and accidentally clicked ok. For some reason the values would change. Just like you I have a few reports which are very tight, they actually print columns 5 across and 8 down. If any programmer goes in and views it and accidentally ok's it without changing anything, whamo!
I am running ACCESS 2000. Not sure if what version you are on.
As you well know, ACCESS has a mind of its own some times.

Well I'm running Access 2002 at the moment, but it happened more often on 2000, now you come to ring that particular bell!

Also, I'm absolutely positive it's never been through the page setup; I have this particular report called by a non-previewing print button a form, which prints that current record. If I enter 10 records & click print on each one, one at a time, never looking at the report itself, I might go to the printer & find that it lost the plot at number four & I have a big pile of scrap! :(
