Every time I restart the computer and log into our network. My previous set proxy settings have been lost on IE5. I manulaly connect to the proxy and when i specify to use the manual settings it will connect successfully however if I shut down and restart the computer the setting are lost and i have to specify manually the ip settigns again is there any way around this

Losing Proxy settings

Some companies use the network logon script to update proxy settings information for the browser automatically. Do you know if your network adminstrator is doing this?
