Losing first record in an RDO resultset

Two of our applications sometimes 'lose' the first record in a SQL table, but there is no DELETE statement used !!!

Any ideas as to why we 'lose' a record

Not off of the top of my head. What does the code look like to return the recordset?

Basically

SELECT * FROM tablename

!!!

the record is 'lost' at some undetermined time, and when the SELECT is run again, the first record is lost - sometimes !!
