Hi all.

I wonder what is going on. When I convert my Access Report to MS-Word, I am losing my check boxes.

Any ideas?

Thx in advance.

I assume you're converting your report to an RTF file? If so, this is why you're losing your check-boxes, as RTF files don't support this functionality. Similarly, if you've got any lines in your report you'll lose them too.

Try exporting to different formats, e.g. PDF, HTML or Access Snapshot, instead. Note: although these may preserve your formatting better, they're not read/write in the way that a PDF is.

Alternatively, reformat your report so that instead of showing a check-box it shows something that can be exported to RTF, e.g. the word 'Yes' or 'No'. [pc2]

Thanks for the hint MP9 but I have already tried converting it to a PDF. It too causes some text to "disappear" such as the footer of one the pages of a two-pages report.

???

Thanks again.
