I have a user that completely loses audio on his i2050 phone after he puts someone on hold for a while or if there is no speaking for a few minutes. However, it's intermittent. A day after he reported this, his iphone crashed with the error:

Faulting application i2050srv.mod, version 1.4.0.346, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.5512, fault address 0x00011669.

I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this error?

I've reinstalled the iphone for now, but don't know if that will fix the problem.

Not sure if it's a known issue with that release but you could upgrade it to a more recent version like 2.0 build 264.

Thanks gberger. I'm new to this phone stuff and feel completely lost. I thought about installing a newer version, but I can't find the version 2 iphone anywhere. Do you know where I can download it from? The only thing I could find on Nortel's site was the 255 update. When I tried to install this, it didn't recognize that I already had an Iphone installed. I downloaded the i2050 from our BCM system, but it looks like it's the 1.4 version. Thanks again 4 your help.

Version 1 is what comes with the Bcm, you have to order any other version then version 1.Contact your vendor, he will be able to order it for you.And stay away from version 3, it's not supported yet on the Bcm.

As for the loss of audio...is this across a VPN or on the same local LAN?
