Loops 2 and 3 are point to point T1s. Loop 7 is a Long Distance T1. All are owned by Verizon Business. I have two tickets open (one on 2/3 and one on 7). Both teams are saying that they don't see anything wrong. This site is not local to me so, someone will be coming in to phyisically plug in a loopback tool from the CSU back to the telco. Other than requesting that they send someone onsite, from the telco, what else can I do?

DTA019 = Frame alignment maintenance limit.
Severity: Critical

The fact that you have 3 Verizon links for slots 2, 3 and 7 giving out "Loss Of Service Frame Alinement" errors, would indicate to me that it's unlikely to be a PRI cardas it's across all 3 of them. If your system was an Option 11c mini, then it could be the power unit on the chassis, but you said it was a 1000M system?. These power units tend to be quite stable, however it might still be worthwhile condsidering changing it out to see if it was the cause.

It could still be Verizon's problem if you have any other PRI links on your system that haven't reported any problems?.

You are clocking off of slot 6, start looking for your trouble there since you have no secondary. You can use slot 7 as a secondary since it is a LD span, all you need is the clock card

For some odd reason, I thought that 11s were not to have secondary clocks..... So, all I need to do is add loop 7 to the secondary reference????

These are point to point T1s so, site A and site B control the use of the T1. This is set up as a voice 23B w/ 1D, each. When site B tosses the LOSFA, site A doesn't see this alarm. The only time that site A sees anything is when the telco jumps in and runs their test patterns. Only site B sees the DTA019 errors. Thoughts?

If you have CSU's, verify that the CSU's are set to clock correctly, or just pass the bit stream unaffected. Possibly a longshot but worth checking.

Telco is dispatching to the site, tomorrow. All circuits are verizon and only these 3 are tossing errors.

Should I do to LD 73 and change something? Is there anything that would just stop?

Loop 2 started failing 8/12 at 2000 hrs
Loop 3 started failing 8/13 at 1600 hrs
Loop 7 started failing 8/14 at 1547 hrs From here out, all three were tossing codes.

You can make 7 your secondary clock source (only need 1 clock per cabinet but good idea to have more than one source)
