Hi,

Is there any way to alter the slashed-0 rendered by imagestring in the bundled GD library to a non-slashed version, without resorting to TrueType or Postscript fonts?

If not, what font extension would be my best choice to avoid portability issues between PHP4 and 5 and hosting on unix and Windows/NT?

Any help / pointers appreciated.

Simon.

Of the 5 builtin fonts, on my system only builting font 3 produces slashed zeros. The other four do not on my system.

I haven't had any problems with PHP image functions using Win32 TrueType fonts on Linux systems.

Thanks - I didn't realise that the typeface changed with the different font numbers; I thought that it was just the size. A star for observation!
