I'm running XP Home with 4 accounts. I find a lot of these problem programs in my daughter's account that she has downloaded or has gone to websites that have this crap in them. How can LOP.com associated websites like search200.com and MY Web Search and others be in all of our accounts when they have been downloaded into hers? Or, is it possible that my wife and son don't know if they've gone somewhere where this LOP.com crap is and it goes into their accounts also?
Here's my HJT log file:

Download MS AntiSpyware, that will really hammer LOP.com and others. Then, repost if you still have problems, or maybe someone else has a suggestion...

Hi,

Firstly turn off system restore:

I would delete the following entries using hijack this:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\nvsvc32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\RioMSC.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\tcpsvcs.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\snmp.exe

Also run spybot 1.3 and adaware se both fully updated and see what they pick up - look in your add/remove programs list for any search programs such as My Way etc. Also reset your internet settings back to defaults (Internet Options, programs, reset web settings)

The reason that your accounts are all affected is because they affect the SYSTEM (Windows) folders which all accounts sit on top of....

Hope this helps,

Kes :)

In regard to lop

Check program files folder for a c2media folder.
Check program files and application data files folders for odd named folders, perhaps 2 or 3, with odd names like
GLUE HORSE or CAR BOAT. If found review contents to be sure they are bad, but usually something like that is lop related and can be removed.

If anybody uses or wants to use messenger plus, be sure they install it WITHOUT the sponsors.

Are your registry and data backed up?
