Hello, We use Lotus SmartSuite 9.8 and heavily rely on the approach. We have imbedded links to wordpro templates used for specific info. when in the lotus wordpro, after having typed one word or paragraphs of data, when one sends to print or after closing the app, the tpyed data is lost. I have checked the auto save and it has been set to very 1 minute, I have checked all LAN connections and I am not seeing any data transfer latency issues or collisions of data...and this happens very infrequently and not on any on computer using this software. Our OS's are win 2000 pro SP4, and Win XP pro...the approach data bases are all on a Iomega NAS and this has been ap routine problem since the purchase and initial use of Approach. Please advise on how to stop the inconsistant loss of data.

Have you checked that autosave is creating a file? Remember, I't won't create filenames that you will remember. If you create a document, save it after the first two words. Then save it manually whenever you have types more than you wish to retype.

I understand the autosave and creating a file, however, this is to a template that when the save fuction works, it is saved inside of a worksheet as a record rather it be one page of info or 10...when saved, it is searchable by case number.
I would not suggest that every user of Lotus needs to manually save thier work when it has an auto save feature, as it is, they can simply close the app (wordpro and the data is saved), my question is a focus on seldom losses of the data on the wordpro document. If 90 of 100 times the auto save works, the remaining 10 time should do the same...sometihing is causing that data to be wiped if you will, though not the only, one common is when the user has enter data and hits the printer icon walks to the printer gets the printed data, when back at the desktop, the record is created, but all of it's contents are gone. I hope that makes better sense..

Compatibility question.
I have just purchased a new Toshiba Satellite Notebook which has Windows XP Home Edition operating system. I would like to install Lotus Smart Suite millennium edition 9.0 and wondered if I will have any compatibility problems.
