Hello everyone,
Has anyone found a solution to this issue in CE 10, DHTML viewer? There is something on the BO site, they are saying that the issue has been tracked down and there are hot fixes for it. We downloaded the hot fixes but they are not working. We get the same behaviour: you must enter a value for each parameter. Our users would like to be able to skip a parameter if they don't want to enter a certain value for it.

Thanks,
Dana

Why don't you just put a deafault value in.

Typically you can use "All" as a default value in a string paramter or 0 in a number parameter, in your select statement you change the line where you use the parameter to something like

(If {?Param} <> "All" then {Field} = {?Param} else true)

keep wrapped in () as this allows you to and with other such parameters.

When you run report in Enterprise it should then have "All"entered and user need not do anything.

I do put a default value for each parameter and use the formula you mentioned in the records selection formula. But when viewing the report in CE DHTML viewer, this looping parameter input screen keeps appearing until a value or 'ALL' is entered foe each parameteer. BO has been tracked this issue and hot fixes are available but they didn't work. I will speak today with BO support and will follow up here.

Thank you for your replay,
Dana
