Hey out there;
I want to have a song looping throughout my website regardless of what the user does - checks out other pages by hitting buttons, ect. My web designer is concerned because it looks like the song will only do that IF there is a pop up music player, and then of course we run into pop up blockers, hassle of having to close player out, ect.
Does anyone out there know of a way that we can loop a song to my website without having to have a player involved?
Thanks
Hoss

I don't know if it would work, but have you thought of using frames? Perhaps you could play the music from the frameset page (or a frame that doesn't take up any screen space) and have all your pages appear in a single frame. Of course, you'd want to target any offsite links to get rid of the frameset.

In Internet Error 6, using frames is a good suggestion. I don't know about Mozilla, Firefox, Netscape, Opera, or any other browsers.

"Ships that pass in the night and speak each other in passing;
Only a signal shown and a distant voice in the darkness;
So on the ocean of life we pass and speak one another,
Only a look and a voice; then darkness again and a silence."

Just as a side note, most users find websites that force them to play music annoying.

Maybe it would better to have a control where a user could turn the music off? This would encourage people to stay on your site.

Good tip, T.
