Hi all,

I've got ARCServe 2000 Advanced Edition. Version 7.0 (Build 1110). The server os is Windows 2000 Server + SP4.

The problem is that the backup rotation job is looping constantly. It is a simple rotation job, not a GFS.

It executes, seemingly ends ok and when the Summary for My Computer is running the job starts again. This happens until the tape es full.

This is an example from the Activity log:

2/10/04 23:17:41 71 289.18 MB Written to Media.

2/10/04 23:43:52 72 Run Command: c:\util\stopservices.cmd.

and from here the jobs runs fine to the next Summary and then starts again....

Anybody knows what is happening?

Thanks a lot in advance

David

1-Try to create another job
2-apply Arcserve SP5 it solves many problems
3-Make sure that the Sechedule Repeat Interval that you are not setting the job to run every minute.

1.- Tried and failed.
2.- ArcServe has SP5 installed.
3.- The job follows a rotation scheme, so there is no custom schedule set in the job definition.

any other idea?

Thanks in advance

What is the last line for Run Command: c:\util\stopservices.cmd.
Perhaps that is related to the looping.
One other thought is the option to retry missed targets selected?
