Oxymoron

hello all.
I'm creating a flash page which is quite bulky, so I decided to create a 'preloader' which is a simple percentage bar.
That all works fine, but because it has to be in the same project to work (i.e. analyse when FrameNo is loaded) I find that when I load the page it keeps looping back to this preloader, when the animation I want on my main page has finished.
It is only one graphic on the main page I want to loop, however when I specify loop for that graphic in the properties box, then set publishing settings to NO LOOP, I simply get no loop.
How can I set the page to not loop, except the one graphic I want to loop?????
any and all comments welcome!!
thnx everyone!

A link would be more helpful than your confusing question!
If what I can make of it is true, put your graphic in a movie clip and have that movie clip loop, but put a stop action on the last frame of your movie. Also uncheck the loop box under the Publish html settings.
That way your graphic element should loop, but the movie shouldn't!
