Hello All,
We have installed NNM on a Sun E450 running Solaris 8. The filters are all in place, and all should be working fine.. however, netmon continually fails, due to, we think, the system not being able to ping it's own Loopback address (Very odd!) The system as originally configured with an incorrect netmask (Was configured for class B rather than the correct class c), and this was rectified on the fly. However, on re-boot, it came back! This change has now been made permanent. Was wondering what the implications for NNM would be here, and if anyone has experienced similar problems with a Loopback address or any suggestions to save me re-building this platform from scratch! Thanks in advance!
