My provider AT&T keeps telling me everytime i call with a problem that they cannot loop my csu. It works if i push in the Loop button on the T1 WIC. This is a cisco router with a T1 wic card.

Is there something in the cli that i can do software wise?

should i not have a loopback interface?

so this card is a T1 wic with a built in CSU ie Wic1-DSU.. not a Wic-1T.

if so then it should accept loopup commands from the telco..
if they issue a csu loopup from their testhead there is no reason it shouldnt loop.

you would see the csu test light or loop light turn on the same way it does when you push the button.

does the telco have a smartjack or some other loopable device on prem that they are able to run to?

Yes there is a smart jack at each site. The telco can loop there smartjack but can not loop my CSU. It works when i hit the loop button but not without it. I was thinking maybe there was a command that i was not using. Oh well. I just have to put up with them.
