I just installed Cisco telephones at our one site and incorporated Loop start lines into the router. The problem is, once you call the number it keeps ringing after you hang up. It is a loop start line. I am thinking i missed a propmt somewhere in Call Manager. Also, does anyone know how many lines you can program on a 7962 phone. I only see add a dn for number-3, and nothing for 4, 5, and 6th key. Can you change the programming to have 6 DN's on the six keys on the phone? This is all new to me, coming from a Nortel Background.

When you build the ports for the COT lines there is a choice for loop or ground start. I think once you build it you have to out it and build it again to see the prompt.

You need to create a new 6 button phone button template under device/device settings if there isn't already one. I dont know what version of CM you are running so the procedure could be a little different for each version.
