Hello All,
Rookie status here however willing to learn. My question is I have 10 Loops (posted below) I can see three are tie. I have 5 PRI that carrier is saying are in no truck group all DID's run across all circuits. We are disconnecting 2 circuits so i guess if they are correct this will have no impact on any of my loops correct? my questions are as follows
1. Is there a LD i can view to see if a PRI is direct connect to a loop?
2. Is there anything i should do when they disconnect?
3. Will I see an alarm like i lost PRI?
4. Should i disable or disconnect anything?
5. Does this sound like common procedure? any pre maintance i need to do?
I want to try and learn and understand the switch better so i apoligize in advance for any foolish blunders. Thanks

I assume 13 and 14 are the two you are disconnecting? If so, in light of you possibly not knowing what may be on those circuits, I would disable them for a few days to a week before disconnecting if possible. That way, you can always enable them to fix a potential issue that may come up, then figure out how to reroute before you turn them down again.
Make all the test calls you can think of, both inbound and outbound to make sure all is still working. Local and LD and any toll free inbound you may have as well as random DID numbers.
The numbers of each of the loops represents a slot in the main cabinets, most installers will label if they are not already labelled, so you should be able to see where they are. These two circuits should have red lights on them to show you which they are.
One thing to check, is to make sure that these two circuits are not providing timing for your PBX. You can do this in LD 60. (SSCK 0 or 1)
Eventaully you may want to remove the loops completely, but this is a good start for now.

Actually the Circuits are labeled loop 28 / 29. I totally understant the disable. What i am confused on is the Loop. if each loop represents a circuit or a tie then i have 10 total 3 being tie 7 being PRI. Is each PRI assigned a specfic loop? so if i disconnect the PRI the loop will show dsbl correc? Thanks
