I created a loop around from Ext. 15 to CO5, in order to allow a door phone to ring continuously instead of a single ding-dong. It works fine, except I'm wondering if there is a way to pass the INTERNAL extensions's caller ID through to the CO port so it will display on all the phones with that looped CO line? At first I thought it may be due to having a single pair cord used in the loop around, but I switched it to a CAT5 and didn't help.

I *assume* this is a limitation of the R7? If that's the case, any thoughts on a work around?

It's not gonna happen. But, everyone should know a call on Line 5 is the door phone calling. Just label that button door phone on everyone's extension.

Change the ring tone for Line 5, in #209. That will help to identify that it is the door phone calling

I did change the ringtone and of course it has its own button, but some people are just technologically illiterate I guess. I have 3 employees that still don't recognize the difference between an internal, outside, or transferred call (after multiple training sessions). They will look at the display, but getting them to look at which button is flashing is a task I have yet to achieve.

It was worth a shot. Thanks guys.
