We have a site that has been downsized and needs to use the auto attendant almost exclusively. Most callers know that when an auto-attendant answers just to hit zero and bypass the AA to a live person. Is there a way to set the auto-attendant choice zero to just replay the auto-attendant menu announcement?
Also if we have an extension that is heavily used in the past and we have downsized that position and no longer have an employ there is there a way to take direct calls into that extension's DID number and route that into the AA? For example, can we just set up a call forward on extension 2511 into the auto-attendant and let them pick where they need to go? Does the AA have an extension associated with it?
