Using Impromptu, can you "lookup" a calculated field from another dynamic report? (not a hotfile).

Basically I want to replicate the VLOOKUP function, which exists in MS Excel.

Typically this is done via a join to the data that the second report would point to, created by adding the datasource to the catalog and creating the join linkage between the columns you would normally base the VLOOKUP on. If the data you want to join is not in the same database format as the catalog database source you are restricted to using a hotfile to acomplish the result.
