Lookup "one to many"

Hi, i am new to Sharepoint, but have been working with filemaker a bit. I am NOT an Database-expert, but understand the basics. I was thinking of using Sharepoint instead of FileMaker. I need three lists
1.Costumers
2.Objects
3.RMA db

I have made my lists above, but i can only do a one2one lookup. On a Costumer, if i add a object by lookup (from object), then i cant see the link ot the costumer when i look in the Object list.

Is it possible to do this at all with SharePoint, or do i need to learn SQL, or is there any other trick to solve this problem?

If you have the resources (i.e., the money for licensing), you could use Infopath to make something serviceable.

Beyond that, this problem calls for a Web Part solution, written in .NET.

Ok, thanks. Have you got any good examples of a good (and free?) Web part solution that can do what you describe?

Depends on your version. There's a capability in MOSS 2007 called the Business Data Catalog, which allows you to integrate backend data. This requires some programming but not as much as cobbling something together from scratch as you would have to do in SPS 2003.

A cursory Google search shows that there are a number of third-party solutions for one-to-many lists in SPS2003, but they're not free.
