I have a table of Terms and Conditions with codes "A01" and Description "Blah, Blah, Blah".

When creating a Proposal for our jobs I want to select Terms and Conditions by the code. I have this setup currently to lookup the values. My problem is that I want to be able to edit the Terms and Conditions for each job making them unique.

How do I lookup the the Description using the code and then copy the record into a new table that I can edit?

Please share your significant table and field names and data types. It would also help to understand your forms/controls used to edit this information.

Take a look at the dlookup method and use an append query.
