I am using Crystal Reports 8.5 (Dev). I have a report that has a SQL Server View as it's data source.

The data has a Open Date field and an Incident # field.

I have record selection of {Open Date} in {?FromDate} to {?ToDate}.

In my group footer I have a summary field that counts the number of Incident # records in the date range.

I have an Excel spreadsheet that had 2 columns - date and Number of People.

What I am trying to do is add a formula field that returns the Number of People value where the date is in the group range (or even within the {?FromDate} to {?ToDate} range).

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

DistinctCount({YourField})

Place the above or something similar in the group footer or report footer and you should be fine.
