I am a developer/tech looking to chat and share knowledge with pros about Aloha and other popular POS products. I'm curious also these days what people are missing in the products, or wish they could do something better or quicker. I have not worked with newer versions so I would like to find some up to date information about what is hot and whats upcoming. I spent 5 years supporting, programming, and installing Aloha for a well known dealer up to 6.4 versions. I am sure there is a lot of new stuff coming out.
Are there any sites out there with an extra key or test site running I might be able to peek at? I'd like to take a look and see how some live export data is output, as well as take a look at the ini files and on terminals (it has been a while). I only have a 5.3 version installed in a xp test environment at the moment. I actually would like to see both QS and TS but i'd settle for either.
one thing i'd like to know is if anyone here worked with export csv files and what they we're able to do with them. I think they are super sloppy from the 0.00 info i have been able to pull from my demo.
