Looking in certain folder by default

Everytime I try and open a file from Adobe Acrobat, it automatically goes into the "My Documents" folder. I don't want it to do that. Instead, I want it to look inside my "Work Documents" folder that I created. Is this a Windows issue or an Acrobat issue? Either way, how do I change it?
