I am designing a personal website about my religion and store no more than 50MB. I am looking for a free or low cost domain name and hosting website (UK). I don't know anything how to sign a new domain name website. I would be grateful if you send more information about domain names and webhosting and advice what to do looking for recommended website.

Many thanks

JSK

I have had a lot of success with this UK based ISP that offer really good value and even better service and support.

The "Bronze" account that they sell offers a really good package (currently at £35 a year - they offer various packages that are less expensive too).

They can help you find a domain for your website and deal with all the technical stuff for you.

All the best in your quest!
Jeff

Have a look at:

They offer free hosting for non-profit organisations, charities etc.

You would still have to register a domain name but this can be done through their sister company at a competitive cost.......eg .org.uk cost £25 for 2 years

I have to agree with BabyJeffy, freshlook are the best.
William (who is a member here at tek-tips) has helped me several times when ive got confused with some aspect of my site creation
He is always there! The whole thing seems user friendly and very powerful.
I dont look anywhere else for a webhost now.

Noellees1,

I hate to be a nitpicker, but I checked out your site (I like the little Flash header) and noticed this spelling error right on top.

Flash to slow? click here to go to the html version

Should be

Flash too slow? click here to go to the html version

and maybe capitalize the "C" in Click.

I'm not trying to be difficult, but wanted your business site to look as professional as possible.

Cheers mate as, i changed the design last night...... so its not exactly back to its fully working standard....
Ill get it fixed now cheers for pointing it out though.
You know anything about how to make an effect like has in flash? i posted in the flash forum?
