I would like to know if the following features exist on SV8500 with DT700 IP terminals:

1. When the phone is idle, show its own extension number on the display.

2. When the phone is idle, show its own DID number (if there is one) on the screen.

3. There is a phone with a prime line and a "multi my-line" (we call it "rollover" here). If I'm on my phone talking to somebody, using the prime line, and a second call terminates on my multi my-line, I'd like to see who is calling, without having to put the first party on hold... Possible?

Thanks for checking..

In regards to items 1+2, you can set up ASYD>b7 to show the extension number while off hook.
For item 3, as far as I know you would need the OAI package to get second party alert.
New software is coming out soon, so there may be enhancements to these features.

Thank you. I have 1+2 in place already the way you described. I was just trying to make it so you can see the ext even if the phone is idle.

And I can't wait to see #3 somehow implemented. I do have OAI installed but to fully utilize it, there is a long way to go to learn C++ programming.

Thanks again...

From the SV8500 Programming manual

C-204 Caller ID Display - Sub Line
General Description
This feature displays Caller ID (calling party number and the registered name information) on the LCD of the
Desktop Terminal when Sub Line receives an incoming call. A user can answer the incoming call which is currently
displayed on the LCD.
Note: After changing data for ASYDL, System Data 1, Index 1248, Bit 0, initialize the system. For terminals connected
to ELC card, initialize the card.
Note: After changing data for the LN PRE parameter of AKYD command, initialize the ELC card.
Note: This feature is available since FP85-105 S2.
Note: In this feature description, it is assumed that Prime Line and My Line are set as the same number.

Thanks for that, however that's not going to show ME who is calling my rollover when I'm already on a call. It will only show it to my other co-workers who have my prime line and sub-line showing up on their phones.

I saw that feature in the manual just before I posted my question, and got excited for a moment, but when I read through it, I saw it isn't a solution for my problem.
