Hi All,

I beleive it is worng section i am in, but hope to get help.

Here is my question,

I am going to have exchange 2003 srv in my network, i need some hardware to do 3 things for me: 1. Firewal 2.Spam filtering, 3.Vpn access for remote users

Is there such a device around?

Lan is small 40users the same amount of email acc.

If i cant find this device, i was thinking of geting this setup:

Cisco 881-sec-k9 router as a firewall and vpn solution and redirect emails using mx record for Exchange hosted services in to MS as spam solution.

What dyou you thing about this?

Thanks in advance !

by the way i need spam filter to keep messages in quarantine !

Your selected solution should be fine. Using a hosted solution is better for small orgs, and keeps the spam off the bandwidth.

But Exchange 2003? You're 2 versions behind.

cisco do an asa 5500 that you can add a trend micro plug in into for spam, web filtering etc, this is harware firewall with all the features you require,
