Hello! I'm new to Tek-Tips and also new to HP-UX, as
my background is primarily Solaris. In a nutshell, where
or how do I find the hardware information for a HP-UX
system (whereas prtdiag is the equivalent tool to retrieve
that info on Solaris). Thank you in advance.

John,

Have a look at the 'ioscan' command. Start with 'ioscan -f'.

John,

Forgot to mention, there's an HPUX forum here you might be interested.

Oh -- and welcome to tek-tips.
