Looking for some feedback 1

Hi all, a friend of mine has asked me what I think of his website. After telling him what I though (not a great deal) he has now asked me if I can re-do the whole thing for him.

So can people take a look at how the site is now, and give me any critisicm (sp?) Besides things like the layout being poor, there are links which have no real explanation to what they are, not too sure why the first page is entirely Flash, etc.

Hi Naiku,

I feel that overall everything is just too big! (and that's at 1024x768 res')
There is no need to scroll a few cm's to the bottom, when it would all fit on the screen.

Text size could easily be reduced... jpegs would be better smaller... and the logo etc too.

Spread out across the page too.. logos tucked in the corners...wide margins running down the centre of the page too... perhaps should be more central to the page?

Personally I'd prefer to get to the other pages from each page, rather than return home each time.. but then I'm just imaptient and lazy! lol

Perhaps try to 'unify' the pages.. same top section.. always same background.. try to create a theme for the site?

Thanks Luds, I agree 100% with all your points. One of the first things I said to my friend was that it looked nasty all stretched across the page and was irritating having to keep going back to the first page to get to any others.

So far I have got a similar background going through all the pages, and made everything smaller (I told him most people who are gonna look at the site can read)

Anyways, will post again once I have completed the site. Thanks for the input.
