I'm looking for a low-cost, effective SMB help desk solution. I recently researched Remedy's Help Desk IQ 30-day trial only to find out that it does not work on Windows 2003 Small Bus. Server. They say version 2.0 will, but there is no target date for it currently.
I need a solution that has fully functional web-based access and has the ability to track day-to-day activity, projects and customer assets. Having secure access to it would be a plus (i.e. integrate with SSL or layered security) as well as being able to create SQL scripts to integrate with other applications.
If anyone can recommend a good, user-friendly product I would be very grateful.
